Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC-C)

I am a mental health counselor in Southern Maine who believes that each of us has the inherent capacity to heal. Through trust and empathy, we will work to create a non-judgmental, safe space for you to access your pains and needs, and nurture your healing and growth potential.

I integrate elements of Relational, Emotion-Focused, Existential, and body-based approaches in therapy to:
Facilitate the processing of significant experiences in your life.
Develop self-awareness and insight around your relationship to these experiences, to yourself, and to the world.
Utilize this insight, combined with Somatic and Mindfulness-based practices and continued emotional processing, to transform challenges into strengths.

My clients are experts of their own experience, and my goal is to empathically investigate how we can promote peace, connection, joy, and meaning in your life. I believe that relationships are the core of all things Human. In the modern, Western world, our relationships to ourselves – our partners and family – our community – the environment, have become increasingly complex. Together we will explore how the nuanced elements of your life, and their meanings, relate to your wants and needs as a whole.

I enjoy working with adults, individuals and couples, with the possibility to conduct therapy either in-person or remotely. You will find me to be curious, warm, flexible, playful, supportive, and assertive in our work together. I look forward to meeting you.

Approach: Holistic, Relational, Existential, Attachment-Based, Psychodynamic, Emotion-Focused, Trauma-Informed, Family Systems, Culturally Sensitive, Mind-Body Based (Mindfulness, Neuroscience), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
